Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to: https://ais.usvisa-info.com
Step 2: Choose Visa Type
You’ll see two options:
Nonimmigrant Visa Applicants (Temporary Visas)
Immigrant Visa Applicants (Permanent Visas)
Select Nonimmigrant Visa Applicants
Step 3: Select Your Consulate Location
You’ll be taken to the Consulate Locations page.
Find the country where you will apply for the visa.
Click your preferred language (e.g. English).
Step 4: Apply
You will arrive at your selected country’s Official U.S. Department of State Visa Appointment Service page.
Look for the section that gives you three options:

Step 5: Please select the condition that best applies to you
Choose this option:
“I have completed the U.S. Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-160) form and I need to apply for a visa.”
Click Continue
Step 6: Signup
Fill in the following required fields:
Given Name
Surname
Email
Email Confirmation
Password
Password Confirmation
Check the box:
“I have read and understood the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use”
Click Continue
Step 7: Activate Your Account
You’ll be shown a message:
“You have created an account for the following email address: [your email]”
Go to your inbox and follow the instructions in the email.
Step 8: Add New Group
Once logged in, you’ll land on the Groups page.
Look for the button in the top right corner: New Group
Click New Group
Step 9: Please select the condition that best applies to you
Choose again:
“I have completed the U.S. Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-160) form and I need to apply for a visa.”
Click Continue
Step 10: Add New Applicant
Fill out the form with:
Given Name
Surname
Country / Authority that issued Passport
Country of Birth
Country of Permanent Residence
Passport Number
DS-160 Number
Visa Class: B1/B2 Business & Tourism (Temporary visitor)
Date of Birth
Primary Phone
Email Address
Answer Yes/No:
Were you previously issued a visa to enter the United States?
Are you traveling from another country to apply for a U.S. visa in [Country]?
Click Create Applicant
Step 11: Confirm Applicant and Visa Information
You’ll be shown:
“Does this visa type match your travel?” An incorrect visa class selection may negatively affect your visa application.
Review and click Yes if correct.
Step 12: Do you want to add another applicant?
If you’re applying alone, click No
Step 13: Pay Visa Fee
You’ll see the MRV Fee Details screen, which includes:
Name
Date of Birth
Nationality
DS-160
Visa Class
Amount (e.g. $185.00)
On the bottom, the payment method will be shown.
In this example, it is:
Pay by Cash
Depending on your country, other payment methods may include:
Bank Transfer
Online Payment
Click Continue.
Step 15: Fee Acknowledgement
A pop-up appears with this message:
“By checking this box I understand that fees will be assigned to the applicant(s) referenced previously…”
Check the box and click Continue
Step 16: Download instructions
You’ll see:
Click ‘Download Instructions’ and follow the instructions. Downloading will also send you an email with the information as an attachment.”
Click Download Instructions. Then go to the listed bank and pay the amount in cash.
Step 17: Schedule U.S. Visa Appointment
Once your payment is confirmed (can take 1–2 business days):
Login to your U.S. visa appointment scheduling page: https://ais.usvisa-info.com
Now you will see Current Status: Schedule Appointment
Click Continue
On the next screen:
Click Schedule Appointment
Then again:
Click the green Schedule Appointment button.
Next you’ll see the Schedule Appointments screen. Fill in:
Consular Section Location: Choose location
Date of Appointment: Choose from available dates
Time of Appointment: Choose from available times
Click Schedule Appointment
Congratulations! Your U.S. visa appointment is now successfully scheduled.
